Thoroughbred Remedies Manufacturing has been making equine nutrition in County Kildare, Ireland, since 1986. The range is built around single-purpose products rather than do-everything blends — a hoof pellet, a gut formula, a psyllium, a calmer — so you feed the one thing your horse actually needs instead of paying for a dozen actives you do not.
Choosing between them — start with the problem, not the pack. Shelly or slow-growing hoof is Hoofmaker, and give it six months before you judge it. Poor appetite, weight loss or stable vices point at GNF. Sandy paddocks mean SandXpell, fed as a seven-day block once a month rather than every day. A sharp or unfocused horse is Cool It + Mag. Growing stock and pregnant mares are Calphormin. Hot legs after fast work are Cool As Clay, which is a topical clay rather than a feed.
Most of the range is fed daily at 25–60g, so a 3kg tub is roughly two months for one adult horse. The 10kg sizes are for stables or long courses, and the 20L Curragh Carron Oil drum ships as a heavy item.
