It gains height on slim upright stems rather than by bulking out, so it fits tanks that are tall but front-to-back narrow, where a bushy background plant would push the fish forward against the glass.
The trade-off is presence: at this weight it is a vertical accent, not a screen. If you want to hide a heater or filter intake, use two or three side by side.

Care

Artificial plants do not take up nitrate or oxygenate the water the way live plants do. They are for structure, cover and looks — your filter and water changes still do the work.
