A powdered gel diet for meat-eating reptiles — monitors, large skinks and other predatory species. You mix it with water and set it in the fridge, so it holds shape on a feeding dish instead of fouling the enclosure the way thawed rodents or raw mince can. It is not a substitute for whole prey if your species needs the bone and fur; treat it as the everyday staple and keep whole prey for enrichment feeds.
Available in 85g and 170g. Same formula in both sizes — start with 85g to see whether your animal takes to gel before committing to the larger tub. Pair it with Animal Wellbeing Calcium+ for dusting, and see the rest of the reptile food range.
Benefits
- 58-60% protein — from Australian fish meal, meat meal, cricket meal and black soldier fly larvae
- Holds its shape — sodium alginate from brown seaweed sets the gel without gelatine-only sag

Feeding Guide
Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts cool water (10g powder + 20ml water makes about 30ml of gel), stir until smooth, pour into a mould and refrigerate to set. Feed 2-3 times weekly as the primary diet, or daily as a supplement. Juveniles take 5-10% of body weight per feeding; adults 3-5%. Keep the powder cool and dry. Made-up gel keeps 3 days refrigerated or about a month frozen.
