A clear plastic Elizabethan collar that fastens with press-stud snaps, so it goes on and comes off quickly between checks. The clear shell lets your pet see around them, which most animals find less stressful than an opaque cone. It is a firm cone, so it is the right choice when a softer collar is being chewed or folded back.

Sizing
The size is the depth of the cone from the neck edge to the outer rim. Measure from the base of the neck to just past the tip of the nose: the cone should reach slightly beyond the nose so the pet cannot reach the wound. The neck opening is adjusted and fastened around the pet's own collar or with the fastening provided — you should be able to slip two fingers underneath.
Most pets need a day to learn to eat, drink and move through doorways in a cone. Raise food and water bowls if needed, and do not leave the collar off unsupervised while the wound is healing.
