A liquid pH test built for ponds, reading 5.0 to 9.0 in one scale. The wide range matters outdoors: a planted pond can swing more than a full point between dawn and late afternoon as plants and algae take up and release carbon dioxide, so a narrow-range kit will spend half the day off scale.

How to test
Take the sample at the same time of day each week, so you are comparing like with like. Do not tip the tested sample back into the pond; rinse the tube with tap water afterwards.
