The CarSafe Crash Tested Harness is a vehicle restraint, not a walking harness that happens to clip to a seatbelt. The chest plate spreads load across the sternum rather than the throat, and the harness anchors through the car's own seatbelt so the dog stays on the seat in a hard stop. Four sizes cover X-Small through Large.
Size by chest girth, not by breed or weight — a crash rating only holds if the harness is fitted to the size it was tested at, so a loose Large on a dog that measures Medium is worse than no upgrade at all. Check your dog's girth against the guide printed on the pack before you choose. This is a restraint for travel; take it off for walks and use a normal harness or collar.

Care
Hand wash in cool water and air dry. Replace the harness after any collision, even if it looks undamaged.
