Dr Biff's Super Anti-Ox is a powdered antioxidant supplement for horses, fed by the scoop over the daily feed.
Antioxidant supplements are worth understanding before you buy one. Hard work generates oxidative stress, and horses in heavy training or competition are the ones most often supplemented for it. A horse in light work on decent pasture is generally not — and no antioxidant will fix a ration that is short on energy or protein, or a horse that is being over-worked. Look at the feed and the workload first, then decide whether a supplement adds anything.
Three sizes: 1kg for trialling on one horse or a short block of work, 3kg for a season, and 7kg for a yard with several horses on it. Buy the size you will use inside the shelf life printed on the tub rather than the cheapest per kilo.
