The dog-labelled version of Dynavyte's fermented synbiotic, sold by the manufacturer as Small House Dog MBS. It combines the Bacillus subtilis (Natto) probiotic with the prebiotic it feeds on, brewed rather than blended from dried cultures. The strain is spore-forming, so it survives the stomach acids that destroy other synbiotics and does not need refrigeration.
It is a daily supplement judged over weeks, not a treatment for acute diarrhoea — a dog with blood in the stool or persistent vomiting needs a vet. At 5-20mL a day depending on size, a 250ml bottle is 12 days for a large dog and 50 for a small one, so pick the bottle to suit the dog rather than the price. Cats have their own label; kennels and stations have Working Dogs in 1L and 5L.
