osmo-lyte active is the version with the vitamins in it. Alongside the same mineral base it carries a full B-group blend plus vitamins A, C and E and choline, and it lifts betaine to 83g per kilogram against the 50g in plain osmo-lyte, with slightly lower sodium, chloride and potassium to make room. That makes it the pick if you want horse electrolytes with B-group vitamins in one scoop instead of running a separate vitamin supplement. It is not the minerals-only osmo-lyte, and it is not Osmo-Lyte Rapid, which is this same formulation in gel form. The feeding rate is identical to plain osmo-lyte, so swapping between them changes nothing about how you measure.
