osmo-lyte is the minerals-only member of the EAC electrolyte family, and it is the one to buy when your horse is already on a fortified feed and does not need another dose of vitamins on top. It contains no vitamins at all, which is what separates it from osmo-lyte active, and it is a powder rather than the gel sold as Osmo-Lyte Rapid. As electrolytes for horses go the profile is salt-led, with 218g of sodium and 416g of chloride per kilogram, plus potassium, magnesium, calcium and 50g of betaine. PeekAPaw carries it in 1.5kg, 5kg and 20kg, so you can start with a small pack and move to the drum once you know a horse takes it. A 30g scoop is included, and the daily rate steps up with work and sweat rate.

- Contains betaine
