The bulk block in the Eco Tech coconut range: 4.5kg compressed, expanding to roughly 25 litres once soaked. Coco husk is coarser than coco peat, so it drains a little more freely and holds its structure better under a digging animal — useful in larger humid enclosures and bioactive setups. It is a wet-side substrate; it is the wrong choice for a desert species.
