A stacked rock feature in brown, available medium (43 x 18 x 23cm) or large (52 x 17 x 41cm). Height is the point: a raised rock puts a basking animal closer to the heat source and gives it a way to fine-tune its own temperature, while the gaps underneath stay shaded and cool.
Set it on the substrate base, not on top of loose sand a burrowing animal can dig out from under — a rock feature that settles onto an animal is the one real risk with hardscape. Pair with a Canyon background for a matching desert look.
