A rock-style cave that gives an animal somewhere it can be completely out of sight. This is not decoration for its own sake — a reptile without a hide is a reptile that stays stressed, off its food and visible only because it has nowhere else to be. Two sizes: 21 x 14 x 9cm and 27 x 20 x 11cm.
Pick a hide the animal fits into snugly rather than the biggest one available; a tight fit is what feels safe. Ideally run one on the warm end and one on the cool end so the animal never has to choose between hiding and thermoregulating. Line it with damp sphagnum moss to turn it into a humid hide for shedding.
