The lowest of Exo Terra's three T5 Very High Output UVB grades: 3% UVB, matched to Ferguson Zone 1 — nocturnal, crepuscular and shade-dwelling species that meet their UV needs in low light rather than by basking in the open. Crested geckos, many snakes and forest-floor amphibians sit here. Choosing by tier matters more than choosing by wattage: if your animal is an open basker this bulb is too weak, and the UVB200 or UVB300 is the right one. It emits UVB and light, not heat.
Four sizes: 8W at 30cm, 24W at 60cm, 39W at 90cm and 54W at 120cm. The tube length has to match the fixture, so measure before ordering. Exo Terra recommends running it in the T5 High Performance UVB fixture, whose polished reflector roughly doubles what reaches the animal; the mounting clips and interconnection cable are the accessories for that fixture.
