The replacement latch that holds an Exo Terra Natural Terrarium's front glass doors shut. Buy it when the doors have started drifting open on their own or the twist tab has snapped — a worn latch is a much cheaper fix than a whole door. If the glass itself is cracked or the hinge has failed, the latch will not help; you need the replacement door for your enclosure size instead.
Exo Terra lists this as the Natural Terrarium Door Latch, part PT2539, and describes it as a replacement twist tab kit. Exo Terra does not publish how many pieces are in the pack, so we have not guessed — ask us before ordering if you need a specific count. The doors themselves are listed by enclosure size: see PT2603, PT2605 and PT2613, or the whole range in our Exo Terra collection.
Features
- Direct replacement — made for the existing Natural Terrarium door frame, so nothing needs drilling.
- Cheapest fix first — a latch failure and a broken door look similar from the front; check the latch before ordering glass.
- Natural Terrarium only — the Pro Terrarium uses a spring-loaded push latch, which is a different part.
