A combination lock that holds the front glass doors of an Exo Terra Natural Terrarium closed. Buy it if you keep an animal strong enough to nose a door open, or if children have access to the room. It is a deterrent, not a security device — it stops the doors being slid apart casually, and it will not resist a determined attempt to force them.

Exo Terra part PT2620, sold as a single lock. It fits the Natural Terrarium range but not the Dart Frog Terrarium (PT2745) or Tree Frog Terrarium (PT2746), which use a different door arrangement. The enclosures it suits are on the Exo Terra Natural Terrariums page, and the rest of the range is in our Exo Terra collection.

Features

  • Combination, not keyed — nothing to lose and no spare key to keep track of.
  • Child-resistant — the doors will not open for anyone who does not know the code.
  • Rounded body — smooth surfaces, so there is no sharp edge for an animal to catch on.
  • No modification needed — made for the Natural Terrarium door frame, so there is no drilling.

Specifications

Exo Terra part number PT2620. Fits all Exo Terra Natural Terrariums; not suitable for the Dart Frog Terrarium PT2745 or Tree Frog Terrarium PT2746. Shipping weight 40g. Exo Terra does not publish the lock's dimensions or the length of the combination, so we have left those out rather than estimate them. The door latch is a separate part — see the glass door latch replacement kit.
