The first-stage diet in Exo Terra's aquatic turtle range: a small floating pellet at 43% minimum protein and 10% minimum fat, built for the fast growth of a newly hatched slider, map turtle or similar semi-aquatic species. That richness is the point at this age and the reason not to keep feeding it later — a growing juvenile should step down to 35% protein and an adult to 25%. The 300g pack is generous for the amount a hatchling actually eats, so store it sealed and dry, and buy to how many animals you are raising.
One 300g pack (Exo Terra item PT3244). As the turtle grows, move it onto Juvenile Floating Pellets and then Adult Floating Pellets. More turtle diets and treats are in our Reptile Food collection, and the wider brand range is in our Exo Terra collection.

Feeding Guide
Feed as much as the turtles can eat in five minutes, twice daily. Remove uneaten pellets with a net after an hour so they do not break down in the water. A hatchling tank fouls quickly at this feeding rate — Turtle Clean helps digest the waste that gets past the filter.
