MainTain Mix is the maintenance feed in the FeedRite horse range — for horses that need help holding condition on pasture and hay without the energy load of a working feed. It sits between Leisure Mix and the training feeds.
Maintenance is a job, not a default. A horse that is fizzy on this bag is probably in less work than you think; a horse that keeps dropping weight on it usually has a teeth, worm or hay-quality problem rather than a feed problem, and more of the bag will not fix that.
Supplied as a 20kg bag. FeedRite is Australian-owned and manufactured in Australia.
Feeding
Feed with roughage — pasture, hay or chaff — and introduce it over 7 to 10 days when changing from another feed. Feeding rates and the full guaranteed analysis are printed on the bag.
