The Halti Active Lead is built for people who run, hike or walk fast with their dog. It can be worn round the waist for hands-free control or held as a normal lead, and a bungee section absorbs the jolt when your dog surges ahead. A close control handle sits just above the clip for the moments you need your dog beside you.
One honest caveat: worn round the waist, a hard pull transfers straight to your body. If your dog still lunges at other dogs or bikes, walk with the close control handle rather than hands-free until that settles.
