A 220g tub of dried mealworms — a high-protein treat for insect-eating garden birds, aviary birds in moult, and adults feeding chicks. Dried mealworms are convenient but they are dry: birds feeding young are better served by soaking them first, because nestlings get much of their water from food. They are a treat and a supplement, not a diet.
