FilterGrid reduces the size of the top and lateral intake slots on a Bioflow internal filter so that very small shrimp, fry and nano fish cannot be drawn in. Juwel designed the slot pattern to keep flow rate essentially unchanged, so you are not trading filtration for safety.
Two things to check before you buy. You cannot run a FilterGrid and an EccoSkim surface skimmer on the filter at the same time — the skimmer has to move to a suction-cup mount. And if you already have a FilterCover fitted, Juwel says the cut-out may need enlarging by hand with a knife, which is not reversible.
Fitment
One part fits Bioflow Super, M, L and XL. The Bioflow One is not listed as compatible. Supplied as a side part, a round part and two mounting brackets.
