The hinged cover flaps for the Juwel Rio 450 and the earlier Rio 400 of the same footprint — 150 × 50 cm, in the two versions Juwel makes. These are the panels you lift to feed and to get a net in, which is why they are almost always the first part of a cover to break.
The II and IV versions are not two pack sizes — they are two different light units. MultiLux II is the two-tube unit, MultiLux IV the four-tube one. The IV unit is wider, so the flaps beside it are cut narrower and there are three of them instead of two. Count the tubes in your light unit, not the flaps you already own — that is the selection that matters, and the one people get wrong.
Which one you need
| Version | Juwel part | Flaps | Light unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 Pcs | 93975 | 2 | MultiLux II — two tubes |
| 3 Pcs | 93990 | 3 | MultiLux IV — four tubes |
Both are 150 × 50 cm. The Rio 300/350 set is the 120 × 50 cm one — a different part.
A cover is not optional on a Juwel tank — it stops fish jumping, cuts evaporation and keeps the light unit's electronics out of the splash. Juwel does not publish the material for its flap sets, so we don't state one.
Flap sets for the rest of the range are in our Juwel collection.
