SmartControl turns a HeliaLux bar into a programmable light. Up to 16 phases a day, per-channel colour, sunrise and sunset, moonlight and cloud simulation, plus Juwel's biotope presets — all set from a browser on a phone, tablet or computer over your own WiFi.
Read this before choosing between SmartControl and AppControl. Juwel has superseded SmartControl with the HeliaLux AppControl — but AppControl works with HeliaLux Spectrum only. If your light is a plain HeliaLux LED rather than a Spectrum, SmartControl is the only Juwel controller that will run it. That is the reason to buy this one.
Browser, not app, and local network only. There is no MyJUWEL app support, no remote access from outside the house and no voice assistant. You reach it by opening its address on your home network.
