NovoLux is Juwel's small waterproof LED bar — 6500 K daylight white, mounted either with the supplied suction pad or with clips inside a PrimoLux cover. It is the light Juwel fits inside its Primo and Vio Cube hoods, sold separately as a replacement or as a second bar for more light.
Match the size to the tank, not to the name. The numbers are Juwel's model numbers, not lengths, and the 40 is a Vio Cube part rather than a Primo one — Primo 60 owners ordering "the 40" is the standard mistake here.

- 60 — Primo 60, Primo 70
- 80 — Primo 110
It is one channel of white, and it does not dim on its own. No timer, no colour control, no moonlight. If you want a sunrise and sunset ramp you also need the NovoLux Day Control. And it is cover lighting rather than a planted-tank grow light — a demanding planted setup wants a HeliaLux bar.
A PrimoLux hood takes up to three NovoLux bars in total, so a second one is the simple way to lift output in a Primo.
