Never put a mat or polystyrene under a Juwel tank. The aquarium's safety base frame handles load distribution and Juwel's instructions forbid an underlay.
Get the floor checked. A filled Rio 450 with cabinet approaches 550 kg on a 151 × 51 cm footprint. On a suspended timber floor that is genuinely worth a structural opinion rather than a guess — set it across the joists, ideally against a load-bearing wall.
