Restore is an electrolyte replacer formulated to match the composition of horse sweat, which is unusually high in chloride and potassium compared with human sweat — the reason a plain salt lick does not cover a heavily sweating horse. Use it after training, travel, racing or competition, and in hot humid weather. Never feed electrolytes to a dehydrated horse that has no water in front of it.
