Cell-Salts replaces the sodium, potassium, magnesium and chloride a horse loses in sweat, supporting hydration and normal muscle function through work. Kohnke's Own is specific about where it fits: it is the everyday electrolyte for normal, temperate conditions. Horses sweating heavily, or working in the tropics, are pointed at Troppo Salts instead, which carries a higher potassium ratio. Electrolytes also only work alongside free access to clean water.
