Energy Gold is a concentrated omega-3 and omega-6 oil for performance and working horses that need calories without excitability. Because the energy comes from oil rather than starch, it suits horses that are sugar-sensitive or laminitis-prone, and horses that get silly on grain. It is garlic-flavoured for palatability, sugar-free and preservative-free. Oil should be introduced slowly — going straight to a full dose usually means loose manure.
Available in a 2L bottle, a 5L bottle and a 20L drum. Horses that need the ration balanced as well as fuelled are usually fed Cell-Vital alongside it.
