Harness Special is the standardbred formula in the range — a concentrated supplement for trotters and pacers in intense training and racing. It carries iron, organic selenium, vitamin E, B1, magnesium, chelated trace minerals and potency-protected vitamins in a dust-free pellet. The specification is built for horses racing regularly; a lightly worked or spelling horse does not need this level of iron and selenium and is better on a standard balancer.
Four sizes, from a 1.4kg pack to a 20kg bucket. Kohnke's Own states it is legal for competition and racing with no swabbing issues, but pre-race supplement rules differ by jurisdiction — confirm yours. Thoroughbred stables generally use Cell-Vital Premium.

Daily dose rates vary with bodyweight, workload and the rest of the ration. Follow the rate printed on the pack, and introduce any new supplement gradually over several days.
