Palomino Gold is the coat supplement Kohnke's Own built for dilute colours — palominos, buckskins and duns — where the usual complaints are black hairs, patchy colour and smutting. It also covers the nutritional gaps of horses on a white feed diet (oats, chaff, white grains), which is often where dull dilute coats come from in the first place. It works on coat quality and pigment expression; it will not change a horse's underlying genetics or bleach out sun-faded hair that is already grown.
Available in 1.4kg and 4kg packs, with no added sugar. Coats that are dull for reasons other than colour usually need the whole ration balanced — see Cell-Vital.
