The longest lead in the KONG retractable range: 7.3m (24ft) of tape rather than the 5m the rest of the range gives you. That extra length is the point — it suits open ground and beaches where a dog can actually use it. It is the wrong lead for a footpath or a busy park, where 7m of slack is a hazard to everyone else.
Specification
- Large — 7.3m (24ft) tape, 15mm wide, for dogs up to 50kg (110lb)
- Colours — grey and red
Features
- Wide tape, not cord — a flat belt is easier to see and does not cut the way thin cord can
- Reflective — reflective detailing on the tape and casing
- Soft grip handle — moulded grip support for one-handed use
- Brake and lock — one-touch brake with a lock for holding a set length
Shorter options in the same range: the Terrain and Trail. See the rest of the KONG range.
Care and safety
Rinse in warm water and air dry; do not machine wash the retractable mechanisms. Check webbing, stitching and the clip before each walk and retire anything frayed. No lead or collar is a substitute for supervision.
