The KONG Wubba is the original of the range — a reinforced fabric body wrapped around a ball shape, with long floppy tails hanging off it and a squeaker inside to keep a dog interested between throws. Dogs tend to grab a tail and thrash, which is the whole idea: this is a tug and toss toy rather than something to leave down for chewing. Three sizes are stocked — Small for dogs up to about 9 kg, Large for roughly 14–29 kg and Xlarge for about 27–41 kg.
- Long floppy tails for shaking, tugging and easy pick-up after a throw
- Squeaker inside keeps solo play going
- Reinforced fabric and stitching over the ball-shaped body
- Sized by dog weight, so you can match the toy to the dog rather than guess
- Assorted colours — the colour supplied varies
Size and materials
KONG lists the Small as 75% vinyl and 25% nylon, the Large as vinyl, nylon and vulcanised rubber, and the Xlarge as vinyl, vulcanised rubber, polyester and a plastic squeaker. Made in China. Fabric toys belong in supervised tug and fetch — a determined chewer will eventually open one up, and KONG's rubber lines are the better answer for that dog.
