The LickiMat Caster is a slow feeding mat for cats. Spread wet food, raw, yoghurt or a liquid treat across the textured surface and a serve that would disappear in seconds becomes a few minutes of steady licking — which is where both the slow-feeding and the calming effect come from.
It suits cats that bolt their food, cats left alone during the day, and households feeding wet or raw diets. It is not the mat for a cat that chews rather than licks: for those, the Tuff range in tougher rubber is the safer choice. Supervise the first few sessions until you know which kind of cat you have.
Available here in Purple and Turquoise.
