DOSAGE

Each Milpro for Cats tablet contains 16 mg milbemycin oxime and 40 mg praziquantel. Virbac’s published dose chart for this tablet is:

• 2 kg – 4 kg: ½ tablet
• 4.1 kg – 8 kg: 1 tablet
• 8.1 kg – 12 kg: 1½ tablets

Milpro is for cats and kittens from 6 weeks of age weighing at least 0.5 kg. Cats and kittens under 2 kg are dosed on Virbac’s chart with the smaller Milpro Small Cats and Kittens tablet (4 mg milbemycin oxime, 10 mg praziquantel) instead.

Virbac advises that adult cats be treated every 3 months unless lifestyle factors indicate a tailored treatment protocol, and that for heartworm prevention Milpro must be administered orally every month, preferably on the same date each month.
