Bitter Tails is a water-repellent bitter spray for manes and tails, made for the common problem of foals and young horses chewing each other's tails in a paddock or yard.
It goes on the hair, not on timber — for rails, doors and posts use NRG Bitter Biter. A chewed tail usually also means boredom or a nutritional gap, so it is worth looking at turnout and feed at the same time rather than relying on the spray alone.
Use
Spray onto the mane or tail as directed on the pack and reapply as the effect wears off.
