Cobb & Co with added selenium is a general-purpose mineral block for country known to be selenium deficient — which covers a lot of high-rainfall southern Australia. Selenium deficiency shows up as ill thrift, poor fertility and white muscle disease in young stock.
Selenium has a narrow margin between enough and too much, so it is worth knowing your country is actually deficient before you supplement it, and not stacking several selenium sources at once. If you are not sure, the plain All Season Trace Element block is the safer general choice.
Feeding & Use
Place blocks where stock camp or water, under cover where possible. Provide enough blocks that shy feeders get access. Always provide clean, fresh water.
