A calcium and phosphorus block for country where phosphorus is short — which describes a very large share of northern Australia. Phosphorus deficiency is expensive and undramatic: cattle simply grow slower, breed later and get less out of the same grass.
Phosphorus supplementation pays best through the wet season, when there is green feed for the animal to actually use. Blocks fed through a dry winter on mature feed do far less, so time it to the season rather than running it year round.
Feeding & Use
Place blocks where stock camp or water, under cover where possible. Provide enough blocks that shy feeders get access. Always provide clean, fresh water.
Handling
A 20kg solid block. This is a heavy item; see the shipping note at checkout.
