Equine Calcium Plus is the calcium-focused block in the Olssons horse range. It matters most for horses grazing tropical grasses such as setaria, buffel, kikuyu, pangola and green panic — these carry oxalates that bind calcium and, over months, produce the condition owners know as big head.
A block is a low-effort way to keep calcium up in horses that are not on a hard feed. It is a preventive fed while the horse is on that pasture, not a treatment for a horse already showing facial swelling — that needs a vet and a properly calculated calcium and phosphorus supplement.
Sizes
2kg brick for a single horse or a yard; 20kg block for paddocked horses and mobs.

Place where horses camp or water, under cover if you can. Always provide clean, fresh water.
