A bentonite clumping litter in an 8kg bag. Liquid is sealed into a firm clump you lift out whole, so the routine is scoop daily, top up weekly, and change the tray occasionally rather than constantly.
Clay litter is heavier than paper or wood for the same tray depth, and fine grains travel out of the tray on paws. A mat at the entrance handles most of that. If anyone in the house reacts to clay dust, a paper or wood pellet litter is the better fit.
Features
- Clumping - scoop and top up instead of full changes.
- 8kg bag - a practical single-cat size that is still liftable.
Using it
Fill the tray to about 5-7cm - too shallow and clumps stick to the base. Never flush clumps; bentonite sets hard in plumbing.
