A 120ml nurser bottle supplied as a kit for hand-rearing puppies, kittens and other small orphaned animals. It comes with a cleaning brush and two additional teats, which is the practical difference from a bare bottle: teats perish and tear, and hand-rearing is not something you can pause to go shopping in the middle of.
Hand-rearing is demanding — newborns need feeding every two to three hours around the clock. The 120ml size suits litters past the first week or larger breeds; for very small newborns the 60ml bottle is easier to control. Always feed with the animal on its stomach, never on its back, and never squeeze milk into the mouth.
Features
- 120ml bottle — suits larger puppies and older litters.
- Cleaning brush included — the only practical way to get milk residue out of a narrow bottle.
- Two spare teats — the part that wears out first.
- Reusable — washes and sterilises between feeds.
Care
Sterilise before first use and wash thoroughly after every feed. Cut or pierce the teat to give a slow drip, not a stream — milk entering too fast is the main cause of aspiration in hand-reared animals. Discard a teat once it perishes or the hole enlarges.
