ProfeLAC Supreme is the top tier of ProviCo's calf milk replacer range — above Gold, Silver and Beef. It is aimed at calves reared entirely on artificial milk, where the powder is doing all of the work for the first weeks of life.
The honest way to compare tiers is cost per calf reared to target, not price per bag. If your calves are on milk briefly and eating hard feed early, the extra formulation is not being used and a lower tier will do the same job for less.
Supplied as a 20kg bag.
Mixing
Mixing rate, water temperature and storage instructions are printed on the bag and should be followed exactly — replacer mixed too strong, too weak or too hot causes scours. Colostrum in the first hours of life is not optional and no milk replacer substitutes for it.
