Neutramax is a urinary buffer and mild diuretic for greyhounds, used to neutralise the lactic acid load that follows a race or a hard trial. It is a recovery aid for dogs in work — there is no reason to give it to a pet dog.
Available in 1L and 5L. The equine version is Ranvet Neutrolene.
Benefits
- Sodium citrate at 280g/L — the buffering active.
- Post-race dose rate — a higher dose in the first meals after racing or trialling.
- Goes in food or water — 3-5ml is easy to place.
Composition (per litre)
Sodium citrate dihydrate 280g, citric acid 93.4g.
Feeding Guide
For a 30kg greyhound: 3ml daily during hard work, mixed into food or water; 5ml added to the first one or two meals after racing or trialling.
