The Pet Project Mixers Chicken is a 300g freeze dried meal mixer — stirred through dry food to lift the protein content and make a plain bowl considerably more interesting. A mixer is the middle ground between feeding kibble alone and switching to a raw or wet diet: the convenience of dry food with a real meat component through it.
It is a topper, not a complete food. Feeding it on its own will not give a dog a balanced diet, and because freeze dried meat is calorie dense you need to take the equivalent out of the main meal rather than adding it on top.

Feeding
Stir through the normal meal and reduce the main food accordingly — a mixer adds calories. Some owners rehydrate it with a little warm water first, which releases more aroma for a fussy dog.
