Transcat is the New Zealand-made pet door that most Australian glaziers know how to fit. This is the small model - a clear flap 180mm wide, with the four-way lock that is the reason people buy this brand rather than a hardware-store flap.
Four-way means you set it to in only, out only, both ways, or locked shut. In only is what you use at dusk if you want the cat home before dark; locked is what you use when the cat is at the vet and you would rather the neighbour's cat stayed out.
Measure before you order. The flap width has to clear your cat's shoulders, not its head - a broad cat will get its head through a 180mm flap and stick. If your cat is large, or you have a small dog using the same door, take the 285mm model instead.
