This is the large Transcat: a clear 285mm flap with the same four-way lock as the cat doors. It suits a medium dog, and it is also the right answer for a large cat or a household where a big cat and a small dog share one door.
Set it to in only, out only, both ways, or locked. Being able to lock a dog door shut at night without moving furniture in front of it is the main practical difference between this and a plain flap.
Measure your dog across the shoulders and check the height it needs to step through comfortably - a dog that has to duck will stop using the door. A 285mm flap is not a large-breed door; a Labrador or bigger needs something else.
Features
- 4-way lock - in only, out only, both ways, or locked
- 285mm flap width - the large model in the Transcat range
- Clear flap - the dog can see the yard before pushing through
- Fits glass, timber and walls - glass installs need a glazier to cut the hole
Spares
Replacement flaps, frames, hinges, latches and rings for the large door are all in Transcat.
