TuffRock G.I. is the product the rest of the range is built on — a patented digestive liquid made from 100% Australian ancient volcanic tuff, poured over hard feed. It is used through gastro-intestinal upset, travel, competition stress and feed changes.
Worth knowing before you buy the big drum: at the loading rate of 50ml twice daily a 500kg horse gets through a litre in ten days, then drops to 20ml a day on maintenance, which is about seven weeks per litre. One horse rarely needs more than the 1L; the 4L and 10L are for teams and studs, and the 10L is heavy freight.
For dogs the equivalent is TuffRock K9 GI; for foals, Foal Plus.
