ValuPLAST is a heavy weight elastic adhesive bandage — the sticky kind, as distinct from a cohesive bandage that only grips itself. Each roll is 2.2m unstretched and extends to about 4.5m.
Choose it when you need the bandage anchored to hair or hide and staying put: over a hoof, as an outer layer on a leg bandage, or where a cohesive wrap keeps creeping down. The trade-off is removal — it sticks to coat and takes hair with it, so it is the wrong choice directly over a wound or on thin-skinned areas. Put a low adherent dressing and padding underneath and use ValuPLAST as the outer layer only.
