Vet's Best Ear Relief Finger Wipes are single-use pre-moistened wipes for the accessible part of a dog's ear. This is the US-line, paraben-free formula, built on witch hazel, aloe vera juice, tea tree oil and a little salicylic acid to help shift greasy build-up. Use it as weekly upkeep — it is maintenance, not medicine. An ear that is hot, red, smelly, weeping or painful, or a dog that will not stop shaking its head, needs a vet to look inside the canal first.
Supplied as a pack of 50 wipes. Note the difference from the Vet's Best Clean Ear Finger Pads: those are the international pack, use a malic acid base, and are preserved with parabens. Same count, same price, different formula — choose on the ingredient list, not the name.
Benefits
- Paraben-free — no methylparaben or propylparaben, unlike the international Clean Ear pads.
- Witch hazel and tea tree oil — for wiping away wax and the odour that comes with it.
- Salicylic acid — helps loosen greasy debris so it comes away on the wipe.
- Fits over a finger — far safer than a cotton bud, which pushes debris inwards.
Ingredients
Witch hazel, purified water, alcohol, aloe vera juice, glycerin, soap, potassium sorbate, commiphora oil, salicylic acid, ginseng extract, tea tree oil.
How to Use
Apply a wipe to your finger and gently clean the accessible portion of the ear, repeating with a fresh wipe as needed. One to two times weekly maintains clean ears. Use within three months of opening and keep the tub sealed. External use only.
To wash a greasy ear rather than wipe it, see the Ear Relief Wash & Dry Kit.
