Neovet is a monthly imidacloprid and moxidectin spot-on — the same two actives as Advocate. One tube treats adult fleas and flea larvae, prevents heartworm, and treats intestinal worms and ear mites. The range covers cats in two weight bands and dogs in four, each sold as a 3 pack or a 6 pack.
Choosing a tube — weigh the animal rather than estimating. The tubes are dosed by weight band and an under-dosed animal is an untreated animal. Neovet carries no paralysis tick claim, so along the east coast it needs to be paired with a tick product such as Simparica or a Seresto collar.
Cat and dog formulations are different strengths and are not interchangeable. Never apply the dog product to a cat.
