PRO PLAN Cat Food

PRO PLAN cat food at PeekAPaw runs across dry formulas, wet pouches and the LIVECLEAR line, with kitten options in both textures. Which one you want depends less on flavour than on what you are solving for.

LIVECLEAR is the one worth understanding properly before you buy it. It contains a protein sourced from eggs that binds Fel d 1, the allergen cats produce in their saliva and spread onto their coat while grooming. Purina's claim is that it reduces the allergen on the cat's hair and dander, with an effect from the third week of feeding. It does not treat a person's allergy and it does not change the cat — it lowers what comes off the coat, and only while LIVECLEAR is the cat's only food.

Everything else splits along familiar lines. Complete Essentials is the everyday wet range in 85g x 24 multipacks: beef and carrots, chicken and rice, salmon and rice, tuna, plus a poultry variety pack. Urinary Care and Indoor Hairball Control each exist in both dry and wet, so a cat that will only eat one texture is still covered. Fussy & Beauty is salmon-led for cats that pick at the bowl, and Weight Loss Sterilised is formulated for desexed cats that have quietly widened.
